MILITARY EX is a non partisan
group dedicated to seeking positive change in the
current destructive US Military Policies which
negatively affect the lives of US Military families
worldwide. These policies are responsible for the
breakdown and destruction of the AMERICAN MILITARY
FAMILY.
MILITARY EX was founded in 2006
by Rhonda Coleman ***** FIVE STAR MILITARY
SPOUSE. MILITARY EX has two organizational tiers.
MILITARY EX Tier I : the for profit organization
which includes social networking, merchandising,
production and event companies and MILITARY EX
Tier II : the not for profit organization which
includes support groups, events, merchandising
and outreach services for US Military Members and
US Military Families.
Coleman, is happily married to
an active duty US Navy Commander who has proudly
served his country with over twenty years of
stellar service including being deployed
worldwide, on IAS in war zones and acting in the
capacity of Legal Officer, Chief of Staff,
Executive Officer, Nuclear Engineer, Chief
Engineer, Communications Officer and Department
Head during his career. The Coleman's have
traveled extensively and lived across the globe
while on official business and pleasure.
Rhonda Coleman is actively
involved in multiple charities including three
that she personally founded. Currently she devotes
her time between raising her four children,
Managing her own businesses, Writing screen plays
and film making. Her focus and the MILITARY EX
agenda is to shed light on the alarming trends in
the consistent destruction of the US Military
Family which has plagued generations and continues
to do so.
The numerous non Military Member
spouses of career Military officers with ranks
ranging from 03 to 07, from all branches of the US
Armed Forces, anxiously convened for this noble
mission vowing to finally break their silence in
support of preserving the AMERICAN MILITARY
FAMILIES. The MILITARY EX Board of Director
members offer their time, tears, sweat equity,
support, experience, and knowledge to advance
their agenda. The MILITARY EX speak out after
years of enduring this Military lifestyle to
demand accountability, an increase in the pay,
benefits, and the quality of life for all
military families.
MILITARY EX has become the
'voice' of the hurting, silent, uninformed,
AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILY victims and the often
blacklisted military members or non member
spouses who speak out against these policies and
hardships. Most military members and military
families are simply silenced by a system that
discourages complete honesty or disclosure of the
facts. These military members and families live in
constant fear that if they do speak out against
this super power war machine, The US Military,
that they will lose their sources of income,
employment and promotion opportunities or worse !
Sky rocketing rates across the
board in divorce, suicides among active duty
members, murders, other serious crimes committed
by military members, stress disorders,
harassment, sexual and racial discrimination and
a range of addictions including drug, alcohol,
porn, sex, and gambling are ruining the lives of
our troops and the families that support them! A
growing percentage of our troops are returning in
designer American flag body bags which will
forever cripple these AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILIES.
The returning service members who do make it out
alive, return from combat zones, retire and
quickly become disillusioned about the realities
of the elusive American dream when they are
unable to secure high paying civilian or
government jobs upon their exit from years of
patriotic Military service. These patriotic pawns
are unable to provide for their families and live
a paycheck away from near poverty on the fringes
of society. Our veterans become further victims of
a system that has turned its back on them.
Our politicians, War mongers,
Corporate CEOs, the jet set and the affluent get
richer and enjoy their lives in the lap of luxury
while toasting champagne flutes to the American
dream they have secured. The very individuals who
fought on the front lines for the freedoms and
lifestyles that every American citizen takes for
granted are further victimized by the US
Government, US Military and the citizens of this
country.
Where is the American dream for
the military members? Veterans are embarrassed
and deeply afraid to admit they have disorders,
mental or physical issues, due to the attached
stigmas. Often these vets do not obtain help
because of the shame. Our vets agonize over not
being able to provide for their families. Vets
are in despair over their broken families and
most have had their marriages torn apart due to
the strains of deployments, the ill effects of
war and military service obligations. Veterans
continue live with the realities and the
difficulties of the military lifestyle even after
their service obligation ends. These unresolved
issues are tearing families apart and eroding the
very foundation of our society.
The US Military train wreck
families are always carefully hidden from the
world community and kept as America's dirtiest
little secret because our government and the
military prioritize its super power image, the
pursuit of capitalism, the appearance of global do
gooder and spinning positive PR. The safety, well
being, mental health of military members or the
preservation of military marriages and quality of
life for families and dependents are clearly not
the priority for our government and the military
leaders. No one is doing enough to make changes in
this broken system. When we will convene Senate
hearings to discuss the military dependents who
are suffering? The clinically depressed,
neglected, at risk children who will never reach
their full potential or become productive,
contributing members of society because they have
suffered due to this lifestyle? When will we have
our politicians try to understand and stop the
Military divorce hemorrhaging? When is someone
going to insure that our vets are provided
guaranteed, high paying jobs after their tours
end? When is the blacklisting and the attempts to
silence the whistle blowers going to stop? When is
someone going to stand up and make sure our
military members are safe, well trained, well
protected and not dumped on foreign soil, directly
in harms way just to keep the billion dollar
business of war going for capitalistic gains?
When is someone going to do more than say we
support our troops as our military members are
dying by the thousands on the front lines? When
will our nation finally empathize and actually
realize the hardships that military Families
endure daily? Each and every one of our military
members are returning as damaged goods from these
wars. They come back either maimed, suffering
from disorders, nightmares, addictions, diseases
or disabilities that are incurable. These are
strangers that we hardly recognize and empty,
cold, frightened shells of the people we once knew
and loved. The US Government and the US Military
refuse to accept the burden of responsibility
that its military occupations create and their
very acts of denial substantially increase the
likelihood of this tragic AMERICAN MILITARY
FAMILY destruction crisis to continue.
Remember how women in our nation
were treated as second class citizens even having
to fight for the right to vote? Remember that our
nation looked the other way during slavery
because it benefited from free labor. Remember
racism then and the horrors of civil rights
violations? Remember when big tobacco denied that
cigarettes were harmful? Remember when our
government installed foreign puppets and removed
them at will when these regimes fell out of favor
and didn't suit their agenda? Remember how
minorities and the poor are viewed by the majority
of our national power base and politicians?
Remember the victims of Hurricane Katrina and what
still is a mass wasteland that has yet to be
repaired? Remember that the MILITARY EX agenda is
to protect military members and preserve the
AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILIES by speaking out,
righting the wrongs, obtaining the respect, the
rights and the benefits that our nation's heroes
deserve. Remember these military members are on
the front lines as pawns in wars we all may not
understand nor agree with. Remember that
together, with one big voice, a courageous
community and effective political leaders who are
devoted to the AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILY we will
create positive changes.
MILITARY EX is executing an
aggressive, innovative campaign agenda to
bulldoze through the bureaucratic blunders
insuring a better career and life experience for
our first and most important family, The AMERICAN
MILITARY FAMILY. The MILITARY EX spouses are
fighting their toughest war yet; the war to save
their marriages and families from the hazards of
Military life. The MILITARY EX are fighting to
protect their Military Member spouses from post
traumatic stress, other disorders, addictions,
diseases, death and the many occupational hazards
of a military career. The MILITARY EX are
fighting for the respect that their military
members richly deserve but have yet to fully
receive including substantially increased pay,
benefits, incentives, resources, programs, non
biased clinical trials for military service
medical issues and guaranteed employment upon the
end of military service. The MILITARY EX are
demanding the highest quality of life for their
families and superior educational opportunities
for military dependents in order to prepare them
to contribute, compete and become the next
generation of world leaders. |
