"I want to preserve my
family and protect my husband. Every single one of
my Military friends are all divorced. It's very,
very scary. I don't want my husband coming back from
the war in a body bag, Maimed, Suffering from stress
disorders or other mystery 'war illnesses' or
disillusioned and depressed because he can't find a
job after over twenty years of stellar service. I do
not believe the American Dream can be achieved by
the average US Military Family."
Rhonda Coleman,
MILITARY EX Founder,
Spouse of Active Duty US Navy Commander.
MILITARY EX is responding to the urgent
call for immediate change in the US Foreign
Policy and the US Military Policy that is
destroying the AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILIES.
MILITARY EX needs your immediate financial
support to continue to do our important work.
MILITARY EX hosts exclusive events, Support
groups, Peaceful campaigns and will shed light
to the epidemic of the destruction of the
AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILIES by aggressively
lobbying for legislative change to drastically
increase pay, Benefits, Incentives, And better
the lifestyle and conditions to our active duty,
Retired troops and families.
MILITARY EX is the voice of the AMERICAN
MILITARY FAMILIES that is often 'silenced',
'discouraged from venting frustration' or
blacklisted for speaking out.
The MILITARY EX Board of Directors is
comprised of the current and former wives of an
active duty Military officers.
There are also MILITARY EX BOARD MEMBERS that
are spouses of enlisted MILITARY MEMBERS.
MILITARY EX is the
advocate of the Military Family, Spouse, Ex
spouse including:
The over one-million men and women who have
served in the US Military.
Many thousands more are still deployed
overseas.
Troops that serve in war zones in places
like Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, Bahrain, the
Phillipines and other locations across the
world.
I. DONATE TO THE MILITARY EX
GENERAL FUND:
The human costs of these wars continues to mount
bringing tears to the eyes of the spouses and
families that love them.
The demand for the much needed services, support
and events that MILITARY EX provides is crucial.
MILITARY EX is a comprenhensive support and
social networking organization that take action to
benefit the AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILIES.
The US Military is grossly undercompensated
especially for the job that they do, the
excessive strain on their families and during
times of war.
How can the US Military justify paying Civilian
contractors up to $200,000.
Then barely provide a measley 3%+ raise to
Enlisted and Officers.
The message that will ring loud and clear that
the pay gap is a slap in the face is for
Enlisted and Officers to cease reenlisting or
extending tours of duty.
Speaking to everyone you can reach and
informing them of these outrageously
disrepectful pay issues.
The divorce rate of US Military couples is
well over 95%!!! Military spouses are bailing by
the busloads and crying mutiny by the millions!
The Military Base Legal programmes that
offer FREE Divorce Filing & Consultation do
not support the Military Family. These
programmes should be overhauled due to conflict
of interests, manipulation and cover ups. The
current staff should be retrained and
reassigned!
The majority of Military spouses are
miserable, Overweight, Undereducated, Clinically
depressed or promiscuous as a result of
separation anxiety and tend to suffer from a
range of stress disorders.
Military Families need an annual all
expense paid retreat to decompress and preserve
the AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILIES.
Most Military Members do not support this
war! War is a money machine creating billions of
dollars for corporations on and off shore.
Put an end to using our Military Members as
pawns and sitting ducks for death!
Most high ranking Military officers exit
the Military and speak out against the policy
and the war. Why not do this while on active
duty?
Military spouses are not kept in the loop
and have absolutely no idea what the mission is
and why there spouses are even deployed.
The US Military's mission is unclear and
changes regularly. First it was weapons of mass
destruction but what is the mission currently?
Who among us American's really even knows or
supports this war agenda?
Troop Shortages create a stain on the
existing troops. This current 'mystery mission'
is running our troops ragged and into the
ground.
Numbers are almost non existent for enlistment.
Young people are no longer interested in joing
the US Military to die or be maimed for causes
that may be unclear.
Overextended: The US Military is being sent
in to 'clean up the messes' of our botched
foreign policy.
Stretched Thin: The US Military simply can
not handle multiple conflicts.
Recruitment and Retention : Officers and
enlisted are leaving the Military for sanity,
peace of mind and to keep their families in
tact.
Stop Loss: The Backdoor Draft.
Body Armor & Humvee
Armor Shortages:
It is ridiculous that the world's super power
can not equipt our Military Members with the
best equipment and supplies.
Its also laughable but very sad at the same
time that our troops simply are not prepared for
war.
Perhaps if we discontinued the practices of
giving to other countries and took care of our
own, we would have plenty of resources.
Training:
Our troops are not properly trained thus
resulting in unnecessary casualties and
injuries. Training troops online to use
automatic guns is not sufficient training.
The Wounded:
When will our wounded troops be heard? Their
silent tears say enough. Its time to stop
putting on the dog and pony media circus and
spin, Parading around a few pround, Maimed
soilders who are spouting off about their
patriotism. There is no doubt that these
soilders are very proud to protect and serve.
Why place them in positions to lose limbs or
their lives in the first place when it may not
be worth it or its a battle that they can not
win. Our troops carry battle scars that may not
be seen on the outside.
Troops Without American
Citizenship:
These troops serve and are not granted
citizenship immediately. Often being dumped in a
inefficient citizenship granting process that
may only occur after their own deaths.
Dense Uranium:
This dense metal is used in many weapons and
there is a correlation between DU exposure and
illnesses like cancer, Autism and Gulf War
Syndrome.
Put pride aside and work towards a peaceful
resolution. Listening to the other side.
Compromise. Isn't this what we teach our
children that is the right thing to do? Don't
fight. Make peace.
Mental Strains of War and Exit
Interviews:
Most Military spouses and families are
disgruntled, Angry, Frustrated, Disconnected,
Anxious and disillusioned.
Military families are one paycheck away
from near poverty and do not ever expect to
experience the elusive American Dream.
It is unacceptable that Military families
should ever be on public assistance or receiving
food stamps.
It is unacceptable the Military families
should be wait listed over four months for Base
Housing.
Minorities (especially African Americans
and Hispanics) are at a disadvantage and should
discontinue enlisting or volunteering for
service in the Military due to the US Military's
Bait and Switch tactics.
MILITARY EX suggests that instead these
communities seek out higher education and
entreprenuerial opportunities if the US Military
does not change its policies.
More women and minorities should be
promoted to the highest levels of the Chains of
Command in the US Military. PERIOD!
Vets and Retirees deserve more pay and
benefits. Our VETS and Reitrees have served
their country and can now barely make ends meet!
The VA should be revamped and held
accountable for gross negligence and
inefficiencies.
Military families should not have to wait
in 'soup kitchen' like lines at Commissaries or
the Base Exchanges.
Every payday, the most outrageous lines of
patrons wrapping all the way around the building
and outside occur.
These baggers are paid on tips and these
cashiers tend to be teens or seniors. Its
disappointing that a trip to the grocery store
becomes an all day affair, futher adding to the
culture of inefficiency and stupidity! Its
wonderful that we have such a great selection
and the prices are better than the civilian
markets but do we have to deal with feeling like
we're in a soup kitchen, again furthering the
'welfare mentality' of the US Military. I think
a few simple management changes and perhaps a
system of accountability, contests for the
cashiers such as fastest ringer gets a gift
certificate to the exchange or consistent
efficient execution of cashiering duties leads
to a bonus. How difficult can cashiering be,
people? Come on! Let's get it together. Military
families and especially Military Members do not
have all day to spend at the Commissary. Let's
institute a delivery service on base for grocery
delivery!
DID YOU GET THE MILITARY EX MEMO: Military
families have limited time as it is to spend
loving one another, loving their kids and
seeking out happiness. Why spend the largest
portions of our AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILY lives
WAITING in soup kitchen lines at the Commissary,
Hospitals and being constantly made to wait
endlessly to get anything done?
WHO IS IN CHARGE OF THIS CIRCUS ANYWAY????
Holding the staffers accountable and efficiency
could promote a sense of value to families which
would decrease stress and cut down on the mass
exodus of military spouses calling it quits on
this Military lifestyle.
Military families should not have to wait
for hours on end at Military Hospital Emergency
Rooms.
Pack a brown bag lunch and bring your dvd's or
a MILITARY EX novel because you'll be waiting
unnecessarily for hours and hours or at least a
full twenty three hours on end to be seen and
receive care and attention. The Military Medical
System Emergency Rooms are the worst!
Further instilling the 'welfare type' mentality
that Military Families aren't valued and that
Military Families can sit down, shut up, wait,
wait, wait and more waiting!!!!!
MILITARY EX has received hundreds of complaints
recently about his unprofessional behaviour and
inefficiencies of these organizations.
Operatives have spent nearly fifteen hours at
Naval Hospital San Diego's Emergency Room to
have their sick and crying minor children seen.
The Military Members then had to go into work
nearly an hour later after this grueling ,
demoralizing hospital visit. This Military
Members was mentally and physically drained
while unable to perform his Military duties to
maximum efficiency thus costing the US Military
and taxpayers thousands upon thousands of
dollars! Military medical professionals and
their civilian medical professionals at our
hospitals must be held accountable and work
according to a system of benchmarks for
performance! Or we need to recruit a higher
caliber of medical professionals and pay them
what they are worth!
An army hospital in Honolulu Hawaii has a hand
grenade with a sign that reads, "Any
complaints? Please pull this ring!" This
piece of equipment meant as a joke and is the
subject of laughter by Military medical
professionals and is housed in the office of the
General who runs this Army medical facility
further underscores the very point of MILITARY
EX regarding how the US Military constantly
treats families and its own service members like
second class citizens. Complain and we'll blow
you up! This grenade product is disrespectful
and discriminatory! Its also a form of
harassment showing how severely the US Military
will condone and promote the unprofessional,
harrasment and blacklisting behavior that
stifles venting grievances. Therefore the broken
system across the board from health care to home
life will never be change with these type of
meatheads running the show.
Extended care and medical benefits should
include cosmetic surgery including corrective
dentistry. God knows this benefit is needed by
the thousands of Military Members and family
members! Military Members deserve to 'come home'
to a near model of perfection in their mates!
Wouldn't this benefit alone keep some spouses
happier and promote better self esteem. Perhaps
some spouses wouldn't resort to 'murdering'
their marine if this benefit was included! CASE
CLOSED!
No Vet should have to beg for money on the
street corners wondering where he'll live, Eat
or sleep.
The 'It Takes A Village To Raise A Military
Child" Initiative should be implemented in
every branch of the US.
Military, holding the US Military accountable
for being real support systems and role models
for Military children and the spouse left behind
when a Military Member is deployed.
The stress disorders and addictions of our
troops are off the charts.
The US Military Members are simply not
compensated nearly enough for the job that they
do. They deserve a 25% minimum pay raise.
Military Members are returning from war
zones as damaged goods; either they are maimed,
suffering from stress disorders or they are
returning in body bags as casualities of the
war!
Military Members retire from their tours of
duty and patriotic service and do not recieve
guaranteed government jobs. Why give a life of
service if they will not 'take care' of you
after your tour of active duty?
MILITARY MEMBERS do not receive adequate
support, Resources and medical attention from
the VA upon leaving the service.
Military Housing is sub-standard, Cheap and
similar to condemed welfare tenaments.
Military Children do not receive first rate
educations and can not compete globally with
their peers.
They instead are typically Military drones
without any real futures and usually opt for the
only career path shown to them by example their
entire lives which is the Military.
This is a dileberate manipulation tactic by the
US Military to 'dumb down' the kids and provide
substandard educations so that they aren't smart
enough to 'choose'.
How are these kids going to become the next
generation that will lead our country?
Military Wifes and Children are often treated
like second class citizens.
Military Wives and Children do not receive
adequate support from the Chain of Commands during
a crisis. There are far too many WEAK LINKS in
these Chains of Command. What we need to do is
locate the WEAK LINK and ELIMINATE these
inefficient individuals, refuse to promote or
simply show them the 'exit door' ! Military
Members simply must be held accountable and stop
sitting around sipping lattes at the water cooler
talking 'shop' . The Military and Civilian culture
has mastered the art of looking busy and never
getting anything done!
Everyone in the Chain of Command should be
accessible! PERIOD!
MILITARY EX should be able to access the
Commander in Chief and every member that WORKS FOR
the Commander In Chief !
Not operating an open door policy that accepts
grievances and is dedicated to preserving the
AMERICAN MILITARY FAMILY can not be tolerated! The
practices of bait and switching, Dumbing Down,
Discrimination, Harassment and blacklisting are
typically practices unleashed on second class
citizens, Underpriveleged and the underserved
poor, Uneducated and minority (including poor
Caucasains) communities.
